About
Blenheim Beach showcases the best of Jervis Bay's natural beauty, nestled between wooded headlands in a quiet pocket of Vincentia. This 300-meter stretch offers the same luminous white sand the region is famous for, but with a more secluded atmosphere than its better-known neighbors.
Protected by surrounding bushland and rocky headlands, the beach provides excellent swimming conditions in its crystal-clear waters. The northern end features interesting rock formations that create perfect snorkeling opportunities, where you can often spot various fish species in the protected nooks and crannies.
Access is via a walking track from Frederick Street, with a small car park available. The track winds through coastal forest before revealing stunning views across the bay. While facilities are limited compared to larger beaches, this adds to Blenheim's unspoiled charm.
At low tide, adventurous visitors can explore the rock platforms at either end of the beach. The southern end connects to Greenfields Beach via a coastal walking track, forming part of the scenic White Sands Walk. This makes Blenheim an excellent stop for those exploring the coastline on foot.
The beach's orientation provides good protection from southerly winds, making it a reliable option when other beaches are too exposed. Its relatively hidden location means it often remains peaceful even during peak seasons, offering a tranquil escape for those in the know.
