About

If you are in Sydney, you must visit Bondi Beach, it’s one of the most famous beaches in the world. Due to its popularity, it can get very busy, with over 2.6 million visitors a year. The beach is popular with surfers and swimmers. Swimmers need to take care swimming in the sea as there are strong currents and rips. Fortunately there are also ocean pools at both both the east and west ends of the beach which provide a safe spot to swim. Bondi beach is home of the TV series Bondi Rescue, which has been running since 2006 and now in its 17th series.  Bondi rescue follows the daily life of the lifeguards that help keep those that use the beach safe.
