About
Greenfields Beach offers a more serene alternative to the bustling Hyams Beach, tucked away behind coastal woodland in Vincentia. The beach curves gracefully between two headlands, with pristine white sand meeting the crystal-clear waters of Jervis Bay.
A well-maintained wooden boardwalk leads down from the car park through native bushland, opening up to reveal spectacular views across the bay. The surrounding vegetation provides natural shade and creates a sheltered environment, making it an ideal spot for families seeking respite from the summer heat.
The beach's protected position typically ensures calm swimming conditions, while the gradual descent into the water makes it particularly suitable for children. At low tide, exposed rock platforms at either end of the beach create perfect spots for exploring rock pools or trying your luck at fishing.
The Greenfields Beach picnic area, set just back from the sand, offers excellent facilities including tables, BBQs, and bathroom amenities. A walking track connects to neighboring beaches, forming part of the White Sands Walk that showcases some of Jervis Bay's finest coastal scenery.
During quieter times, especially midweek or outside peak holiday periods, you might find yourself sharing this stunning beach with just a few other visitors and the local wildlife. Keep an eye out for dolphins playing in the bay or sea eagles soaring overhead.
