Australia's Beaches

Australia is known for its beach culture, and with 5,818 beaches to choose from you are spoilt for choice. Many may not be aware of the true size of Australia. It’s so big that you can fit the 44 mainland countries from Europe within Australia (with some space to spare). While beaches close to the cities can be very crowded there are plenty of rarely explored beaches across the country. This is due to its size and the fact that its’ population is under half that of the United Kingdom.
